What is your COVID safety plan?

The Conference Committee is constantly assessing the COVID situation. A COVID safety plan will be developed in the lead up to Conference to ensure we are working with accurate and up to date guidelines, requirements and advice.

Do you have 'backup' speakers?

In the event that our international speakers are unable to travel to Australia for the conference due to prolonged international border closures, our committee will execute our back-up plan and local speakers will be announced.

What happens if the Conference is cancelled due to COVID?

If we are unable to hold Melbourne Family Conference in January 2023 due to COVID restrictions or government directions, we will offer a full refund to all conference attendees. We encourage anyone booking travel/accommodation to consider taking out travel insurance and to carefully review any cancellation/refund policies before booking.

Conference Program

How will the youth program be run?

We plan for the youth to attend all of the main study sessions, but we will be organising additional sessions and events for the youth around the main study program. We have a whole team dedicated to ensuring the conference will be just as engaging and relevant to the young people as it will be for the adults.


I am not completely sure I can attend the conference, should I register anyway?

Yes, please! As much as possible we need to know numbers for our planning of events at the conference. Also to give us time to organise billeting, airport pickup, etc. The registration fee is only $50 per family group so we would encourage everyone to register as soon as possible.

How much is the deposit?

In order to secure your spot at the conference, we require a $50 deposit upon registration. Please note, the deposit is not $50 per person X the number of people you are registering, it is a flat fee of $50.
